Over 50 years ago the Knaus brothers, Ray and Russell began raising strawberries in the Redland of South Florida. They set us a small road side stand near the current Knaus Berry Farm location to sell their berries. Some of their strawberries were sold through a broker who tasted some cookies made by Ray's wife, Barbara. He told Barbara that they were good enough to sell. Over the years, along with the strawberries, assorted baked goods vegetables and ice cream have become available for sale at Knaus Berry Farm. Knaus Berry Farm also has U-Pick strawberries and tomatoes, availability permitting.

IZABELLA'S AND LEXI'S KNAUS BERRY FARM ADVENTURE! is the world's only hybrid website project where National Advertisers and Local Sponsors work together to create positive content for beach and water based communities and their adjacent cities. Our profit comes from National advertisers, which allows 70% of our 'Sponsor' dollars to be dedicated to bringing you videos and photos of events, attractions and area features of interest. Knaus Berry Farm has been on our coverage list since we began covering the communities of the Florida Keys and Miami. is 100% Family Friendly and we have just created a new section called Kidzone.  12 year old Izabella was chosen as host of this new section in which she will visit Kid Friendly destinations from Destin/30A to the Florida Keys. We asked Izabella where she wanted to go on Veterans Day when she would have a day off from school and she said 'Knaus Berry Farm!' We called Tom from Knaus Berry Farm at the last minute and he made time for our coverage on a very busy day. was founded on a desire to create something special, where money and what Americans perceive as success was secondary to the desire to inspire people to be better people and to care about what we feel really matters in life. This journey has so often led us to people and businesses that instead inspire us and this was the case at Knaus Berry Farm. Izabella and her sister, Lexi was given plenty of attention by Tom and the rest of the staff as they worked in our needs while still making sure to take care of the customers who waited in line for cinnamon rolls and milkshakes. While interacting with the crowd, we listened to story after story of people who love Knaus Berry Farm and recognize the owners and staff who make it special. Izabella asked one little girl named Sienna, probably 7 or 8 what her favorite thing was about Knaus Berry farm and she said 'The people who own this place'. That is not a was our favorite thing too.
