Georgie's Paradise is a large wholesale and retail nursery that carries plants and trees of all kinds and has a beautiful Koi pond. Georgie is the name of the owner's monkey, who is usually at the property and is worth dropping by to visit on her own.

Knaus Berry Farm is known worldwide for amazing cinnamon rolls, great milkshakes and you can even pick your own strawberries. Izabella dropped by to meet ones of the owners Tom and got a tour of the facility and even go to meet Barbara, whose delectable cookies started it all. People literally line up to the road and down the street for their cinnamon rolls and other goodies.

Robert Is Here is a legendary fruit and vegetable stand that was founded in 1959 by a 6 year old Robert. He has built an incredible business and he didn't forget to have great things for kids. Izabella and her friends dropped to check out the animal area and splash park. They had a great time and interacted with donkeys, turtles, fish, birds and even Robert!

Tropical Village Farm is much larger than it looks from the road and has a produce stand, lunch counter, horse riding area, large covered pavilion and a second horse area where you can ride in a stable-like environment. The pavilion is great for birthday parties or corporate events. Izabella and her sister, Lexi rode horses and had a great time.

Redland Riding Academy is much more than just a place to ride horses. Izabella got a personal tour of the property and had the opportunity to interact with all sorts of animals and then she rode a horse. The Academy is open for parties as well as training on horse riding. They also board horses on the property and take great care of all of the animals in their care.

The Little Farm is a must visit on any trip to the Homestead or Redland area. Izabella had a great time interacting with animals from a cow named Otis to bottle feeding baby goats. She was really surprised how great their butterfly garden is with many species of butterflies. They board horses and she got to go behind-the-scenes to the stables and feeding area.

The Everglades Outpost is a wildlife rescue facility that cares for alligators as well as wolves, panthers, snakes, turtles and many other species.
Animal Planet's Ashley Lawrence and Chris Gillette gave Izabella and her sister, Lexi and cousin, Justin a personal tour of the property. It was a fun and educational visit and it was fun to watch Chris get in the alligator area to get avocado's.

Homestead Animal Hospital is owned by Dr. Greene and is the veterinarian that we trust with Mako and is also the one who was very interested in supporting the community of Homestead through our program.
