INFORMATION ABOUT THE ANIMAL CHECKPOINT AT MILE MARKER 106
Interviews with Capt. Blue and Dr. Natalie Wendling
There has been a lot of questions and concerns about the Animal Checkpoint at MM106 in Key Largo. We contacted the U.S. Department of Agriculture and asked if we could drop by the checkpoint and interview some of the people about what is actually going on. They were actually happy we were willing to do a video to let people know that they are just checking animals and educating them of signs to watch for if they later suspect a problem.

MANATEE ENCOUNTER IN KEY LARGO
We love Manatees and were very excited to have the opportunity to enjoy sharing a moment with the manatee shown in the video and photos. The experience was incredible and it was exciting to be so close to one of these wonders of nature. Manatee encounters are pretty common in the Florida Keys, but to us each encounter is a special one to be treasured forever. You will see scars on the Manatee in this video. Please encourage all boaters to be responsible and respect the Manatee and other marine life. How we respect nature is one important aspect that determines our value as humans.
